Mandala Art and Meditation Retreat
A Creative Journey to your Centre of Energy
30th March – 2nd April 2018 | Eastwood House, Dunkeld, Scotland – UK
If you feel you need to recenter yourself, clean your mind with meditation and boost your creativity with colours – then join us in the amazing Victorian villa that inspired the writer Beatrix Potter who penned here The Tale of Peter Rabbit.
Close your eyes and listen to the relaxing sound of River Tay flowing peacefully in front of the Birnam Oak, in the medieval forest celebrated in Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
Now, open your eyes and breath deeply with your mouth open joining the sounds of birds chirping and squirrels running around the beautiful flowers in the garden. The air and the water around you here are your first connection to tune into nature.
Breathe out and come with us inside! Chill out on one of the charming old sofas and have a break, I am sure you need it! No need to talk, just listen to the sound of silence that reigns in this house, this will be the only pleasant noise for the next 4 days and 3 nights. Are you already lost in the beauty of these rooms?
Sometimes words are not enough to express what you have deeply inside.
Do you feel you miss your inner balance without a clear mind about this time in your life?
If you feel you are swinging back and forth in many directions, between past and future, between your old ideals and your wish to change, well, now it’s the time to stop, breathe and look within yourself.
Not sure how to remain focused every day?
We will meditate together in a circle on your creations and you will be surprised realizing that energy follows focus. You will also receive the benefits of Reiki in this evolutionary week-end.
Would you love being creative and inspired?
Mandala Art can give you that access entering the incredible world of colours and shapes. You don’t need to be an artist to attend our Easter Retreat Circle. What instead? You simply need to be yourself and allow the creative process to happen magically on its own.
So why should YOU join us?
We will guide you through painting and drawing to create your sacred circular space where you are safe and balanced.
Our Visual Artist and Reiki Energy Healer Elisa will inspire your creativity to go back to zero. Back to the pure world where everything begins, where kids dare experiment. Elisa is the founder of our business partner, Social Art Edinburgh.
In the past few years, through my personal experiences, I discovered how powerful and transformative the creative process can be. I believe that creativity is directly connected to our internal source of energy and can help us to explore our identity, our emotions and the world that surrounds us. Becoming aware of our whole self is a precious gift that we all have the right as well as the need to experience.
My work aims to generate opportunities where people can reconnect with their creative side and can fully experience the creative process without being intimidated. Our identity, emotions and experiences are the fuel for our creativity, and we all have that fuel within ourselves of course.
Meditating on your creations will let the healing energies of Mandalas take you back to your harmony.
Giada, our Retreat Master and Planner with her twenty years of experience in tailoring events and her deep knowledge into the Buddhist philosophy and the practice of meditation will open the doors to you to one of the most ancient art forms created by human beings. How many times have you been enchanted watching the images of monks realizing mandalas with sand?
